Our story began in 1990, when Janet Kingston left the Texas DMV to start her own company with a vision: to make title and registration services more accessible, personal, and reliable. What began as one woman’s determination has grown into a trusted, family-run business serving individuals, dealers, and corporations across Greater Houston and beyond.
In 2010, Janet’s daughter, Wendy Champagne, proudly took over the company to keep it in the family and build on her mother’s legacy. Soon after, her sister Crystal Westerman joined her, and together they grew TX Title Connection into the thriving company it is today—where family values, professionalism, and expertise guide everything we do.
In 2018, Wendy’s husband, Steven Champagne, came on board as Marketing Director, bringing over 20 years of experience in creative strategy, branding, and business development. With Steven’s vision for growth and modernization, TX Title Connection has blended its family roots with innovation, ensuring that every client experience feels both personal and professional.
With over 30 years of combined experience, our reputation is built on accuracy, honesty, and a personal touch. No lines, no confusion, no “call the DMV”—just real people, ready to help. Wendy Champagne has been serving the people of Texas with dedication, professionalism, and heart since 1990. TX Title Connection was originally founded by her mother, Janet Kingston, who left the Texas DMV to start the business with a vision of making the title and registration process simpler and more personal. In 2010, Wendy inherited the company, determined to keep it in the family and expand on her mother’s legacy.
With over three decades of experience in vehicle title and registration services, Wendy has grown TX Title Connection into the trusted, family-run business it is today. Her mission has remained the same from day one: to take the stress out of the process and replace it with clarity, speed, and trusted support.
Known for her deep industry knowledge and unwavering attention to detail, Wendy has helped thousands of individuals, dealers, and businesses navigate even the most complex paperwork with ease. Her approach is personal—every client is treated with respect, honesty, and the confidence that comes from a job done right.

Crystal Westerman brings experience, focus, and a calm, can-do attitude to everything she does at TX Title Connection. As Wendy Champagne’s sister, Crystal joined the family business to help carry forward the vision their mother, Janet Kingston, began in 1990. Together, Wendy and Crystal have grown TX Title Connection into a trusted, family-run company that continues to serve Texans with the same values of honesty, accuracy, and care.
As a trusted Title Specialist, Crystal is known for her sharp attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine care for every client she serves. Whether she’s helping someone replace a lost title, assisting a dealer with bulk transfers, or walking a first-time customer through the registration process, Crystal ensures everything is handled efficiently—and with a personal touch.

With over 20 years of experience in creative strategy, branding, and business development, Steven Champagne brings a unique perspective to TX Title Connection’s growth and outreach. As the husband of Wendy Champagne, Steven joined the family business to support and expand the vision originally founded by Wendy’s mother, Janet Kingston, in 1990. His role ensures that the company not only remains rooted in its family values but also evolves to meet the needs of a modern, growing market.
As Marketing Director, Steven is responsible for building brand visibility, modernizing communications, and ensuring that every client interaction—from the website to the front desk—feels clear, confident, and connected.
Steven is also the founder of Champagne Ventures, a creative strategy and consulting firm that helps businesses sharpen their message, elevate their visuals, and grow with purpose. His background spans everything from media production and storytelling to leadership and systems design.
At TX Title Connection, Steven blends creative vision with real-world understanding of what clients need: simplicity, trust, and a company that delivers. His work is driven by the same family-first philosophy that has defined the business for more than three decades.
